Animal
Farm Adventure Park was established in 1984 when
an area of land was utilised from a larger farm
to start a Rare Breeds Farm. Set on 23 acres on
the Somerset levels behind Brean Sands and one
mile from Berrow, the Farm nestles between the
Mendips on one side, Brent Knoll on the other
and the beach to the west.
Originally
the Farm opened between Easter and October but
now opens all year, servicing the needs of a growing
local population and the busy holiday areas of
Brean and Burnham on Sea.
Over
the years various facilities have been added including
a shop and a café. The key attraction apart
from the animals has to be the all-weather play
barn which attracts many local families and holiday
makers, giving children the opportunity to play
whatever the weather.
Open all year (except Christmas Eve, Christmas
Day and Boxing Day) 10am to 5.30pm (5pm in winter)
